Brandon, South Dakota is a growing community on the eastern edge of South Dakota. Less than ten minutes from Sioux Falls, SD (The largest city in the state) helps to make Brandon a growing community that continues to offer more and more reasons to move here. Brandon Hometown Days was born in 2006, but the first event was not held until 2008. This community event is held each year on the first full weekend in August. The Saturday schedule is primarily focused in McHardy Park in Brandon, but there are many other events that happen during the weekend as well.
